Hey gang! So how many times has this happened to you? You give someone an out-of-the-ballpark presentation about your product or network marketing opportunity and at the end, just when you’re ready to sign them up and rush home to celebrate, they hit you with those four little words we all dread, “I don’t have the money.” ARGH!
As my good friend Mark Hoverson puts it, if someone tells you they don’t have the money, they you have given them a bad offer. Simple as that. I never take “I don’t have the money” as an objection. I see it as I’ve not lightened the money load. Mark uses a Bentley as a great example. If someone drove a Bentley into a convention, a brand new one worth about $350,000, and said they wanted to sell it for $10,000, how many people do you think would not be able to figure out how to get their hands on 10K and quick? Of course the flip side of that is if someone drove in a banged up 1973 Chevy Vega and wanted to sell it for $100,000. Probably not many takers, don’t you think?
Are you offering a Bentley or a Vega? You know, your offer is like a teeter-totter. There’s the money on the one side and the content you’re offering on the other. Make the content side heavier and the money side lightens.
If someone says they don’t have the money, why not sweeten the pot and offer them a cash bonus from your own pocket for every referral? Now, I’m not saying go against the rules of your company, but there are ways to make your offer more valuable. For instance, if your prospect says they don’t have the time to learn all there is to know about your opportunity, then offer to come and train them in person…for free. That should probably be part of every offer you make anyway. Training is so important, but we’ll leave that for another post.
“I have no money” is a great opportunity for you to learn where you’ve mis-stepped. Maybe they don’t believe in the company. Maybe, just maybe, they don’t believe in you. Find out what their objections really are and overcome them. Be the leader they’re looking for, sweeten the pot, and grow your business like crazy!
Make ‘em an offer they can’t refuse, and you’ll be helping your prospect and yourself.
Hey Gang~~ I am sitting here at my desk wishing that you will feel 1:34 is worth investing in at least watching this short video and taking the action step! It will only help you, I promise. If you are building a network marketing, direct sales, or traditional business I think you will find this very helpful. You do want people who call you to be left with the right impression of you right? If you practice attraction marketing then this is DEFINATELY something you should do. Have an amazing day………..now go give someone else an AWESOME day!
Hey gang! There is something I do every single day to get myself more exposure and I love it. Why? Because it’s FREE!
Add comments or links to other people’s blogs. That’s it. Simple. Easy. Effective. Go into forums and make comments. Go to Yelp and add your comments. Even Facebook is a great place to be seen by an unlimited number of people.
I comment on three different blogs every day. In doing so, I become a part of that blogger’s community. Have the commitment to make comments every day and soon you’ll be viewed as a knowledgeable expert of whatever subject is at hand.
Just remember that when you’re commenting you don’t need to sell something every time. Contribute something meaningful to the post or blog. Have something relevant to say. If you’re marketing to, say, fly fishermen, then find a few fly fishing blogs and post tips and stories about fly fishing. Don’t always be a salesman, but rather a part of the community with the community’s needs in mind.
If you’re looking for a place to start, well then come on over to my site, theidealnetworker.com, and leave a comment. I LOVE those comments. And trust me, there’s not a blogger alive who doesn’t follow how many times their blog is reTweeted and put on Facebook. They’re helping you and you’re helping them. Don’t you just love Win/Win? I can see how much traffic I get on my side from when I comment on other people’s blogs. It’s huge. And other bloggers can see, too. That blogger might even call and interview you for a post sometime. How cool is that, huh?
Another thing — when you can upload a picture of yourself to include with your comment. Get your face out there. We all know people relate better to an actual face than just a printed name. Flash those baby blues or dazzle ‘em with that smile. Network marketing is personal marketing. Let them see the person that you are.
Read the comments on blogs from others and you’ll get an idea of what works and what doesn’t. But bottom line, if you add value to the post, you have added value to your own business.
Now go forth and blog, my friends. And reTweet, and comment, and Facebook and whatever else you can think of.
And as always, while you’re doing all of that, give someone an AWESOME day!
Very simple message today. Because I am in Network Marketing I have something a lot of people strive for…… TIME! A couple of weeks ago I decided at the last minute to jump in the car and head out for a two week road trip. Most of the videos you will be seeing for the next couple of weeks were done while on the trip. One of my favorite moments from the trip in Seattle was to watch my two favorite nephews (I only have 2) take a Karate class. It inspired me to shoot a tiny 50 second video. Enjoy and I (like every Blogger) love comments! If you like my stuff, consider joining my “Info Loop” on the right side of this video! Give someone an AWESOME day!
